About him
I have had an interesting and successful career and I have travelled widely. I have worked mainly in the UK but also in Malta, Germany, the USA and Nigeria. I now just have one day a week to keep me grounded and I love the people I work with. Over the last 15 years I have enjoyed holidays to all the continents and loved Antarctica, South America, and safaris in Southern Africa. I keep fit through cycling with a club, twice each week for around 30 -40 miles. Big ride days are over. I walk with my border terrier every day. I garden both at home and run an allotment. I am proud of a major collection of day lilies. I am a reasonably competent campanologist. I enjoy visiting places and have been a National Trust member for more than 50 years. I have a reasonable art collection and can’t help myself at the various County art weeks!
I have a positive outlook on life, somehow. I have a small circle of very good friends with whom I meet weekly for a bit of light entertainment. I hate tattoos. I go down to my coastal property in Charmouth to relax, reflect, read and walk. I otherwise live well in a village on South Somerset Dorset Border.
