About her
I’m a warm, intuitive, whimsical soul who brings gentle magic, soft humour, and a calming presence that makes connection feel beautifully effortless.
I love going out exploring places. Some of my favourites are Cornwall, Devon, Wales, Glastonbury, Hay-on-wye, Ireland, Scotland. From the beaches, mountains. I prefer camping to see the stars with a pint of Guinness at the end of day exploring and settle with a book before bed hearing the owls calling.
I love art, crafts, natural landscapes, the call of the sea and raw mountains. I love crystals and symbols, history and inspired by different thjngs. I regularly will have lots of interests on the go and find it harder to focus on one thing as I enjoy sitting down with a good book but love learning practically as well.
I am practical and do my own DIY and am independent. Used to be a biker (650 Vulcan) but have a disability so left that in the past.
Work in HE (30+ yrs) and enjoy facilitating students increase their knowledge. I imparted that love for learning to my children who are studying at university.
I would like to explore other countries for culture and history. I would love to complete a postgraduate programme in sustainable textiles but also to have a motor home and travel around Eire and Scotland.
Life has felt a hard struggle as a single parent, but my children are now young adults. So I need to adjust my headset to what do I need now. So I am looking to see if I can find a partner in that adventure.
My family is from Eire and hence I am interested in different aspects of my culture. The hair colour now comes from a bottle but was ginger as a child. The freckles are true, though. I lived around Bristol forever.
I am an introvert and find small groups easier than masses. I don't mind hobby shopping e.g. books and stuff but I really cannot stand clothes shopping, the false nails and matching handbag thing... When I am doing the DIY having to worry about a chipped nail is not for me. So probably a bit of a tomboy out of need.
