About her
I have a dog, she has been with me for 14 years. I won't be without her. I adore animals. All kinds. I believe in animal protection and environmental conservation.
I am a playful and protective parent and my child's biggest fan. I fight for my child and that will never change. It takes great strength and resiliance to go through a divorce after a 20 year relationship and see the impact of that on our lives.
I am an evironmentalist and human rights supporter. The world is an amazing place and I want to experience as such as I can. I love science and the environment. I can be found tracking the aruras, eclispes and stars, drawing the micro world, photographic animals and landscapes.
I love art and the theatre. I enjoy music eclectically but mostly alternative/ indie, soft rock, classical, motown/jazz and blues. Anything, I can relax to.
I love to be near water having grown up near beaches overseas (my family are overseas). I love boats, swimming, snorkling and miss scuba diving (did it in my 20s). I'd love to spend more time on water, canoe and paddle boarding, boating.
I value time with friends and family more than possessions. A good laugh, hearing their news, a coffee or an activity together makes my day.
I have three degrees (including postgraduate degree) and enjoy thoughtful conversations.
I was a homemaker for a long time but before had a corporate career. I have been consulting and building my career since divorce. I enjoy my work a great deal. I find it facinating.
I like books and to learn new things. I read a lot of work related, self help books. I am looking for a got non fiction, but have yet to find one. I recently gave 3,000 books to Oxfam, and to teachers at my child's school. I am building a new collection now.
Looking to make new memories with a true companion. Companionship is important to me, to have banter, moments to share and to grow together. After all, memories us all we will have at the end of life.
