I'm almost 8 years since my last relationship as I've been concentrating on trying to help my daughter, 17 to cope with life. I guess I'm a bit like Marmite - people either love or dislike me. I'm an ex biker due to an accident and now I drive a custom Peugeot 107 with a raspy exhaust and a car stereo that goes hard. I love Funk, Breakbeat, Dancehall, HipHop, Reggae and Jazz. I follow Manchester United and I try to watch every match. I don't watch TV because I prefer real life and I don't need media to tell me who I should be. I'm a healed Libran and I'm very comfortable with who I am and I'm just looking for a loving, kind partner that won't disturb our peace. My ideal match would be someone who is happy in themselves and who wouldn't think twice about helping someone if they were in distress.
Red flags for me are conspiracy theories, people who are disrespectful, anyone who wants to change me, and I find jealousy and possessive people a real turn off.
I would love to meet someone who would be happy to just go for a drive and a walk, sit by the sea or river and breathe in the air. I like quirky women and I'm very tactile when I'm in a relationship. I like hippy/Boho types or people who have their own unique style. If you feel like your partners in the past failed to reciprocate what you put in then that would make two of us and we could be a match made in heaven!
Green flags are liking bugs, moths etc. Enjoying peace over drama. Getting excited over simple things like the smell of a White Iris, or coming across animals in the wild.
My daughter has AUDHD so if you have experience of the needs of neurodivergent people that would be a great bonus! I'm not asking for anyone to be a mum to her, but just to be aware that there will be times when she needs me to be there for her and it would be a deal breaker if someone saw her as a rival for my attention.
