About her
As well as enjoying the life and interests of my daughter and grandsons, I have loved going to the opera and theatre with friends, I have been archiving in a honey-coloured Jacobean Cotswold house, swimming in the open air and am completing a monograph - all great fun, but I should love to share life and interests with you - and travel more.
(I founded an arts for health charity and thanks to Covid reached out to international innovators - all extraordinary - I can’t quite believe it now).
I love life, fun-loving with friends, privately shy but less so with age, ever interested to learn and hear about the lives and interests of others. As for likes and dislikes - beauty in nature, whether personal or sensual. Can’t bear unkindness, ugliness, lies, foul language, depressing thoughts, violence.
Hobbies - after I have finished writing my book, I should like to learn the piano again, to paint or draw perhaps, to cook better, nurture my garden, travel more. I used to sail, ride, play tennis, ski, and should love to dance more, share ideas even quite different interests. As a member of various arts, decorative arts and furniture history societies I have seen the glories of architecture around Britain, France and Italy. So much more to discover.
Relaxing this weekend I read, sunbathed, swam in the sea . . . I rather love my son’s evenings in America BBQing with friends, fire pit, huge skies, birds rather more colourful than ours.
