Depending on how I write this...it may or may not appeal to you.
The last few years have been challenging but I have thrown myself into them and am now in a position to get my life back on track.
Friends and family tell me that I am thoughtful, loyal, caring and generous...gosh that sounds pretentious doesn't it...I suspect I might have to prove that statement if we ever meet up!
I'm emotionally intelligent, available, stable and curious to connect. Fully prepared to talk openly and frankly about my life experiences and expectations.
I'm a rugby man having taught my two son's up to U16 and have previously played golf, badminton, squash and tennis to various degrees of proficiency...but could get back into these activities with someone to rally or play a round with me...if you'll forgive the two puns!
To relax, I enjoy gardening, photography, stargazing, motorcycling and finding quiet spaces to meditate in. I really don't mind cooking and can follow a recipe as I find it therapeutic. Music has always been a pleasurable way for me to relax and I have an eclectic taste ranging from ABBA through Pink Floyd and onto ZZ Top with Beethoven, Holst, Mozart & Vivaldi and other popular classical music in between.
I appreciate good food with good company accompanied by a glass of good wine. It would be fair to say that I value quality over quantity and I suppose that could be my outlook on life too.
Nature is important to me and I am very comfortable around dogs having had them all my life. For over 30 years I have been a National Trust member as well as holding English Heritage and RHS membership so you'll understand that day visits to these places with my children and grandchildren are important. Architecture and modern sustainable eco building methods are also of interest to me.
In the past, I have toured across Europe on either a motorcycle or in the car and have enjoyed the freedom that brings but I don't mind flying either.
BTW, I really don't mind dressing up or down to suit the occasion.
