I am an American, from the state of Iowa in the midwestern part of the country, but will be attending university for postgraduate in creative writing in the UK this coming fall, so I’ll be in the right neighborhood soon! I don’t take myself very seriously, and I like going out for drinks, so I promise I’m a fun time. I will ramble about my favorite things, such as video games, books, and many other things. Even better if you’ll ramble back. My love languages are physical touch and quality time. I love watching films and TV shows (especially really bad ones, they’re the most fun to laugh at) and I adore animals of all kinds. I like hockey, crochet, and writing stories. I am currently working on a novel (or two, I have ADHD)
My friends describe me as very loyal and dependable. I am the one friend who would leave somewhere in the middle of something to console someone or bring them a snack or just a hug, and I take pride in being a good partner and friend. I can be skittish with romantic affection sometimes if it’s done too strongly, so please be patient with me, I’ve had some bad things happen in the past. I am also openly bisexual, but I tend to lean more towards men.

I’m looking for someone fun, caring, and patient who makes me laugh. Height is less important to me, I’ve dated men who are shorter than me in the past, and they’re just as rad as tall guys. I am an active person who enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and swimming, so I would prefer someone who enjoys staying fit and taking care of themselves. I am not fast, though, so if you’re a runner, I’m happy for you, but I will not join you for that. I also love to ice skate! I’ve been doing it since I was a child, and am quite good at it.
I like dating people who are educated, well read, and generally pretty progressive, though I feel like that comes with the territory. Someone who likes to read is a big plus, as I am an avid reader.
