About her
Sincere, articulate, a good listener, honest, passionate, fit, flexible ... and maybe a little bit quirky. Well, you might see things differently, but those are qualities I like to think I possess (and probably seek in others too). I'm solvent and independent, but recognise the importance of loving connections, and there's room in my life for a special person.
I've had a varied career and moved around the country quite a lot. I now work as a counsellor and yoga teacher, and derive much satisfaction from both of these. I'm a firm believer in continuing to learn, to grow (not physically - though being a bit taller would sometimes be nice!). Open to new experiences, able to step out of my comfort zones, but also recognise my limitations and am able to show vulnerability.
Love languages and cooking, eclectic music and foreign films, and enjoy keeping myself fit, healthy and - hopefully - emotionally grounded. I have good relationships with my two adult sons, two small grandchildren and a good network of close friends - though these are scattered around. I'm happy going on holiday, to the cinema or walking alone, but sometimes my own company gets a bit same-y (and the cat doesn't enjoy any of these).
Initially seeking companionship and connection, without having set expectations. Some physical attraction and intellectual stimulation would go a long way, too. If a friendship rather than a romance develops, I'm open to that. But, of course, romance would be nice - if the connection is right and the attraction is mutual.

A healthy lifestyle is important to me, so my ideal partner will share that outlook. I exercise regularly - mostly walking, gym, yoga. I also like climbing trees and random poles (see pic!). I'd like a partner who shares at least one of these interests. I enjoy cooking, and would love to meet someone who shares an enthusiasm for tasty, healthy food and would like to cook for me too.
I'm a cat person rather than a dog person, and come as a package with my Bengal girl. A fellow cat-lover would be great...
Would like to share walks, meals out, cinema trips, concerts, short breaks, good conversation with deep connection. I'm not obsessed with travel, and don't like lying on beaches, but I'm open to exploring new places with the right person.
