About her
London was home for many years, but four and a bit years ago I moved to a lovely market town in north Wiltshire and haven't looked back. Renovating an old house has been a labour of love and, now that it's largely complete, I'm enjoying making the most of everything this part of the world has to offer.
I'm naturally curious and happiest when I'm learning something new. I love theatre, galleries, concerts and discovering interesting places, whether that's in Bath, Oxford or Cheltenham, with the occasional return to London for a welcome dose of big-city energy.
I'm an enthusiastic reader (I've usually got at least two books 'on the go' and I'll happily read almost any newspaper put in front of me), enjoy long walks in both town and country, and am currently learning pottery—with varying degrees of success!
My career was busy and rewarding, involving plenty of travel, particularly to the United States. These days I divide my time between chairing an education charity, helping to organise a local festival, and enjoying the luxury of having more time for family, friends and the people who matter.
I'd love to meet someone who is kind, intelligent, enjoys good conversation and still has an appetite for discovering new places and ideas. Someone who values laughter as much as loyalty, and who believes the next chapter can be every bit as rewarding as the last.
