About him
I am a councillor doing my very best for my local area.
Used to be a director of a large international business. So I know how the world works and I strive to make it work better.
I have been single for 15 years+ and I enjoy being solitary some of the time, but life is better still with someone close to share life with.
I have richness in close friends but most of my close friends are not physically close, though I have a lot of friends locally too.
I am an old lefty, and have recently become a Green Councillor having broken with the Labour party.
Around town I usually cycle though I also enjoy my car. I am also very interested in old cars and regularly go to events including classic car racing.
I'm a strong fan of serendipity. I dislike guided tours but love to go places on a whim and seeing what's there. In June I imagined a deserted beach. Decided that was in West Wales and went there to find one.
I have just finished writing a memoir. Thinking of publishing it but unsure. I have also written >500 weekly published blogs as a councillor. ALso working on a buisness history book.
Oh, my hearing is fine at home or outside but poor where there is environmental noise, including difficulties in restaurants and pubs (though I also enjoy music!)
A friend asked me what was my superpower. I thought 'I have none' then, pressed, I replied 'a good heart'. I stand by that.

Someone who I click with. She will probably be a bit unconventional, but not necessarily. It would be nice to find a soulmate - that's really what I'm looking for.
She may well have eclectic ideas and pursuits and will want some companionship in those but will be up to explore what I'm interested in too.
I couldn't deal with somebody too conservative (small or large C), a Brexiteer or a Boris fancier.
I like cycling (but no speed merchant) for transport and pleasure, and pleasure would increase with a partner in crime sometimes. I like small gigs (esp blues or folk) and old cars, especially when they are racing.
