About her
Lockdown has taught me how to stay still and enjoy simple pleasures. I love theatre and galleries as much as anyone but equally important are walks in woodland , mountains, or by the sea. All so much better with someone to share the experience.
Sharing good food and conversation with friends and family has always been part of my life and I am a competent cook with a ridiculous number of cookery books.
I have just retired this year but will continue to support younger colleagues from home for a few hours a week. I have enjoyed my working life but am ready to move on to a new chapter.
I am calm, supportive and listen, and always ready to share my opinion. I am blessed with good health and an optimistic outlook.
To relax I read the FT each week and listen to radio 3 and 4. This year I have read more biographies and diaries than ever before and discovered I love detective novels and spy thrillers, not to mention TV crime dramas.
