I'm a book lover - I don't stick to a particular genre or author, I just read whatever interests me. Might be history, science, travel, global affairs, sport...
Somewhere in between the two extremes of "couch potato" and "fitness fanatic" - I walk a lot, but I'm unlikely ever to be found in a gym. While going to national parks for multi-day hikes is great, you don't have to do it every time - enjoyable walks can be had just about anywhere; getting out on foot is the best way to explore what's on your doorstep.
I travel as much as I can - when not actually doing so, I treasure the memories of past trips and look forward to future ones. I like to get off the beaten track where possible - the best adventures usually happen in the most obscure places!
The rest of the time I can usually be found playing the French horn in a local amateur orchestra. My idea of an evening out is a concert or play; for a day trip I'd go to a museum or historic site.
