I value individuals more than the mass of humanity. I cherish kindness, intelligence, warmth, trust and humour. I have a passion for books and live in what is close to a library. Other interests are: gardening, cinema, photography, keeping fit, X-words, many different kinds of music, cooking, exhibitions, the natural world, travel, but not obsessively. If you are looking for someone who wants to be constantly in motion, it's probably not me. Dislikes: most media, excesses of political correctness, bad manners, poor hygiene, greed. If I would not be happy doing nothing with someone, I would be unhappy in constant activity. In general get on better with younger people, perhaps because minds more open to new ideas experiences.
