About him
In general, people think I am unusually young, active and versatile for my age. In recent years I have published my memoirs on Amazon, taken up various pursuits, joining a variety of groups within the U3A including monthly walks in the country, and have participated as a pianist in chamber music courses in England, France and Switzerland, in addition to playing parts in three plays with two amateur dramatic companies. Some people think I am a good raconteur with a quirky sense of humour. I enjoy travel, and since 2016 have had holidays on several islands and in three continents. Other local activities have included Nordic walking and doing physical jerks for an hour in a weekly fitness dancing club. In earlier years I have attempted, with varying degrees of success, to learn ballroom and Latin American dancing.
