I’m kind and loyal, adventurous and curious. I like to think I’m funny, but you should perhaps ask my friends about that; they may well be humouring me.
I’ve led an unusual life, totally through choice, and have travelled and worked in some interesting and marvellous places, but have washed up back on the shore here hoping to find a bit of stability without sacrificing the excitement.
I’m interested in pretty much everything, except for watching other people play sport.
I like things with feathers, things with snow on top, things near water and things that make me laugh, brightly-coloured silks, cephalapods and stormy skies. Lightning, fireworks, shooting stars, rainbows, the turn of a hawk on the wing and waking up to find it snowed in the night still thrill me.
I have a competitive streak a mile wide, that has spurred me to haul my ass up to some of the worlds most beautiful high places, but equally, gets me into trouble when playing boardgames at Christmas. With children.
