I’m empathetic, good fun, a good listener, a caring person, mostly optimistic, enthusiastic, tolerant, interested in the world around me, confident, like to look at the humorous side of life. I’ve travelled a good deal in Europe, North Africa, Middle East, Far Eastbut still haven’t been to South America which is my next ambition. I lived, worked, researched and brought up 4 children in Hong Kong. I went there for a year to do some research in social anthropology and stayed and stayed... Through that I think I acquired a respect for and enjoyment of other cultures. Came home to Oxford in the early 2000s and enjoy what it has to offer. In the last couple of years I have been trying to improve my drawing and painting abilities, which I find hugely absorbing and exciting.
