I enjoy quite simple things such as walks and leisurely lunches as well as enjoying live music of most kinds and exploring new places here and abroad. I am happy with time to myself - I certainly don't need people around all the time - but the best times are sharing with family and close friends. Playing various musical instruments is a favourite way of relaxing - I'm now learning the cello. I have more time now as a retired academic and would like to share interests with someone who has a similar outlook.
