About him
I have recently retired so it is a new phase in my life and lots to go out and see and experience. My friends tell me that I'm warm, sociable and friendly and that I like to have fun and keep busy. I enjoy being active and keeping fit (but not obsessive!) and love to play and watch all sorts of sports. My interests are wide but include reading, theatre and cinema. My growing family is a big part of my life although they don't live with me. Relaxing can be on the sofa with the tv especially on winter nights, or a nice walk in the country with a lovely meal afterwards. More quirky is that I love all sorts of puzzles and quizzes! I am enjoying travelling at the moment both at home and abroad as I want to keep experiencing new things. I would really like to have a special someone to share all this with.

The key thing is chemistry - very hard to define in words but you know it when it's there. For a relationship to work, it must be easy to feel comfortable together and enjoy laughs and good conversation, but also the space to do your own thing. I'd like to share walking, city breaks, theatre and a host of other things too - the list can be as long as you want! I like warmth in a person, lots of hugs and affection, a winning smile and a friendly, sociable outlook on life. The rest would follow although I am not a big fan of tattoos - sorry about that!
