About him
I'm a British/Swiss professional opera singer, based in the Cotswolds. I often travel for work (UK and abroad). Being afforded time to explore parts of the world whilst working is one of the perks. Back home, I am very creative, piling loads of energy and passion into painting in my studio, woodwork in my man shed, making my garden beautiful. Growing vegetables too. Nature and the natural world are very important to me, and a source of endless wonder. I worry about climate change & try to mitigate my impact. I don't watch a lot of TV..instead giving my time over to projects that make me happy. People I know would say I'm at times gregarious and outgoing, and at others quiet and thoughtful. I love to chat, to meet people, often found talking to strangers in the street. Getting older I care less about what people think of me...and isn't that liberating? Obviously I am mad on music (jazz pianist too) and have been a singer from the age of 8 (chorister at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle). I like funny and meaningful conversation, doing quick crosswords, meeting my mates at the pub. I prefer to get my exercise with an active lifestyle rather than bench pressing in a gym. I am generally a very positive person, who believes that life is a privilege and needs to be filled with fun and new experiences.
