About her
Active and curious and equally comfortable in the countryside and city. Friends and family use the adjective 'feisty' to describe me, and I can be. I find yoga a great way to balance my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual self and I practise 2/3 times a week. Swimming and horseriding also take up some of my time, and last year I braved my first major hike, St Cuthbert's Way, which was one of the best things I have ever done. This Summer I am hiking the south part of the Pembrokeshire coast. My garden is filled with roses; my favourites are Desdemona and the Lady of Shallot. I always have at least one book on the go, currently reading a book by Elif Shafak, and Daniel Levitin's Music as Medicine. Music and instrumental playing (piano and flute) are central to my life. Also William Boyd's 'Any Human Heart' ... fabulous.

I am not convinced an ideal match exists, but some shared activities and a sense of humour can contribute to a richer life - experiences shared are so much more memorable than those done alone. I need someone who knows their own mind (as far as this is possible) and is not afraid to articulate it, who is well-spoken and who is quite active and enjoys walking - horse riding would be a bonus! An appreciation if not love of classical music would be welcomed.
I find tattoos a complete turn-off!
