About her
I have always felt that experiences are better when shared. Whether it is an evening at the opera, discovering a new place, a diving trip, or simply laughing over dinner, I would love to share life's pleasures with someone special. My life has taken me through some wonderful and unexpected paths — including law, professional opera, travel, sport and a few adventures along the way.
I am fortunate to have a full and active life. I enjoy tennis, padel, pickleball, travelling, scuba diving in warm waters, music, especially opera, and the arts. I now give opera talks to groups, which combines two things I love: music and sharing ideas with people. I would love to share the pleasure of live performances with someone who enjoys music and the arts.
Languages and different cultures have always fascinated me. I speak six languages and enjoy foreign films, discovering new places, and seeing the world from different perspectives.
I also danced Argentine tango for many years and could perhaps be tempted back onto the dance floor by the right partner. I even learned to fly a small plane — although I eventually decided my sense of direction was probably not quite reliable enough for serious aviation! I did, however, rather enjoy putting the aircraft into a stall.
After a long and happy marriage, I believe there are still wonderful experiences ahead. I would like to meet someone special with whom to share laughter, affection, interesting conversations and new memories.

I value kindness, intelligence, warmth and a good sense of humour. Shared interests are lovely, but what matters most is enjoying each other's company — whether that means an evening at the opera, a weekend away, a walk, a good meal, or simply sitting together and talking.
