About her
I’m 51 and live on the outskirts of Birmingham. I love being active — whether that’s out for a run, at the gym, or enjoying the outdoors. I bake for the joy and taste of it, and love to share my cakes with friends and colleagues. I also sing - both while dancing round the kitchen and in a small auditioned choir. My two teenagers (18 and 15) are great company but no substitute for some adult company where I don’t have to be a parent!
I’m thoughtful, loyal, and resilient — the type of person who you can rely on for support but always up for some fun too. Once I feel comfortable, my cheeky sense of humour tends to show itself.
I work as a secondary school teacher, which keeps me busy and reminds me how important patience and perspective are. It’s hard work and I have to be well organised but I find time to relax too. I always try to look for the positives in life!
