I have a whole host of hobbies, to the point of being called a renaissance man. I play some piano, a lot of chess, I workout and run regularly.
I read a lot and although most of this is for work rather than leisure, I quite enjoy reading scientific papers
I love spending time with friends, who I'd love to introduce you to after a few dates. I also have a small campervan that sleeps two which I love to get away in during the summer, particularly to Mid and North Wales
I have a vague plan to emigrate to Norway after my PhD, hence the learning Norwegian.

My ideal match is someone with intellectual desire, someone who loves to know how things work at a slightly deeper level.
I'd love a road trip partner who enjoys a hike, a run, or sitting in new coffee and book shops.
Perhaps most importantly, I want to meet a "glass half full" person who has a positive outlook on the world. Its a big and beautiful place.
