About her
I like to live an active life and I make a point of keeping fit and healthy. I like hiking, traveling. nature( did Annapurna base camp last year, Vietnam this year, went to India a couple of time for yoga training and also as a tourist). I also like music (mostly classical), art, reading, writing and philosophy. I know I am not perfect (!). I also like a drink, wine especially, but I am not comfortable with heavy drinkers.
I am interested in public life, read the Guardian and I don't like tories. My friends say that I look fit and that I am intelligent. I am also loyal and loving with people that let me! I am sensitive, but also strong. I am looking for someone straightforward, but not necessarily simple. I want a companion who I can respect and who respects me.

Somebody who likes to live an active life, is wordly oriented and has some sense of adventure, emotionally mature, in touch with his feelings and articulate. This person has some respect for himself and makes a point of looking after his health and fitness, physically and emotionally. He is independent and respect my independence too.
I like hiking, skiing, yoga, and appreciate art, music (mostly classical), reading and knitting. He would not need to share all of it though!
