I am quite a lively person. I am well educated and had successful careers in both business and academia. I enjoy historical places, as well as nature in its broadest sense. I also enjoy watching rugby! recently stepped down from local politics and want to spend a little more time enjoying myself. I have travelled in Europe mainly although last year I did go on safari and see the big five- magical!
Now that I have more free time, I want to explore new places and people.

I would like to meet a good conversationalist, who has well balanced views but is also tolerant of other opinions.
I would hope that he would retain some of the old fashioned manners which seems rare today but is not too formal.
I do know a little about rugby but not so much football or golf
