I’m ready to walk, hike or sail .. all within reason!
I was happily married until thirteen years ago when my husband died.
I took early retirement from teaching to follow my love of music, art and languages. Joining a choir has enabled me to dig deeper into classical choral music. My interest in art led me to specialise actively in sculpture, particularly figurative work.
I am and feel European in spite of the referendum and I am relatively often in France and Italy and speak both languages.
Politically I am left of centre and during the run up to the referendum worked with the Lib Dems.
I feel very lucky to have a wonderful family and group of friends whom I see as often as I can… but like you I guess, I miss the intimacy of a partner.
