About her
I am hoping to meet someone pretty special here. Someone who enjoys the good life, is busy and active but who appreciates a quiet, home life at the same time. An ex once described me as being ‘flash in a low key kind of way’, and taking what he said as a compliment, I am hoping he was referring an understated confidence. Generally speaking, I am happy and content with my life so far.
My friends say I’m good company and I like supporting what they want to do and will always be encouraging. “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans” rings true for me, and I have surprised myself in coming this far in life having not settled down. I’m good on my own but feel change is coming…and that change may involve someone new in my life. I’m still curious about exploring deeper friendship and companionship, perhaps leading to something long term. It’s good to see if it’s possible while I can. Quite simply, I’m prepared to venture into modern pastures new.
I won’t engage on here if my interest has not been sparked, so please don’t be offended if you message and I don’t reply - time is short and I have no intention of wasting anyone’s allocation of this finite resource. I have read a few profiles since signing up and I am humbled and impressed by some of what I’ve read so far. It doesn’t come easy for me to describe what I am looking for in a man but will give it a go.
I look for strength in character; accomplishment; someone who is interested and interesting at the same time; good fun, lighthearted and easygoing. I’d like to feel there is compatibility with a kind, generous, understanding and good natured spirit. Intelligence is important, as are shared values and interests, but with someone who appreciates a degree of independence and wants space to pursue their individual interests. I enjoy solitude and doing my own thing too. In the long term (if it were to happen), someone who values a peaceful home life and enjoys having a connection and being close to nature in their own way.
Now, is that’s helpful? Ha, I’m not sure that it is but I’m in no rush, and even with words describing my ideal match, you never really know if you’re going to hit it off with someone until you meet them. Happy to be proved wrong.
