About him
I'm neither introverted nor extroverted. Happy to talk, but comfortable in my own space too. I try to listen to people, although it's always a work in progress; after all, talking and listening is what it's all about really! I am generally fairly active: too much indoors and I'm not getting enough vitamin D anyway! But, I have no problem with domestic life either.
I like to have fun, also mess around with an enjoyable, creative personal life (photography, bit of video) - which means I'm organised and focused too. I'm more of an individual than one of the crowd, so I'm wary of groupthink or the herd. I've spent many years on my own, so maybe I'm a little stuck in my ways and rather different, but I'm ok with that - but it's also why it's time for me to get out and meet someone.
I've got a wide spectrum of hobbies and interests: Photography, walking, listening to music, sports, politics (left-wingers / liberals aren't welcome), business, watching content on YouTube (gold mining / opal hunting is just one small example of what I watch), occasional drinks especially with a quiz team I meet up with once a week.

A loving, caring type who's also fun and good natured. A life and interests of their own, which would both overlap and compliment mine. Maybe a crossover with the creativity or longing fulfilment? Absolutely not essential though. Someone who's intelligent also; both intellectually and emotionally.
So, I guess I'm looking for someone who can bring plenty "to the table", so to speak, in terms of personality, warmth, intelligence and, like me, someone who's capable of individual thinking rather than being one of the herd. A lovely, fulsome figure wouldn't go amiss either!
Dealing in negatives, I don't want to date a smoker. That's the only thing that immediately springs to mind. The rest I would find out as we go along.
I guess what would make our relationship work would be a shared vision of the world and our future together in it - where we might go, live etc; plenty of fun; talking and listening is always the main part; overlapping / complimentary interests - we don't have to be exactly the same (in outlook or interests), but some common ground between us would be important. Differences make for spice and interest too.
