I am an ambivalent ambivert who practices Zen Buddhism while being a committed Humanist. Mostly outgoing albeit very reflective and introspective at times. Like meeting new people and listening to others but not in pubs or similar venues. Enjoy walking (up to 5 miles) and no longer drive. Ex-Labour & now Green; anti-Brexit & Tory - resolutely left-of-centre! Love theatre, old classic films and some new ones too.Happy to be with cats and dogs but sadly no longer have any of my own. I am a 'book' in the Human Library; a co-counselling teacher & practitioner! who enjoys writing for the fun of it. Visits to foreign places -e.g. New Zealand, Cuba & Europe. Good at quizzes & patient/persevering with jigsaw puzzles.Positively 'glass half-full' humane human.

I have no picture in my mind's eye of an ideal match. Someone who has a few common interests and can introduce me to new interests like ballroom dancing to complement my circle dancing. Feels strongly about what is happening in the world; protecting the NHS and other public services _ taking others into public ownership like rail,water and energy. A Greenish-Socialist who is commited to social and political change A tactile person who can be intimate and sexy whilst funny and open to sharing her world.
