About her
I am a colourful, well travelled, educated person who loves animals, travel, music, art, my fashion design and meeting different people. I've taught languages, painted furniture, run an English language business and now have my own range of holiday wear and kaftans .
I'm recently widowed after caring for my terminally ill husband so quite new to this sort of thing but still want to try to enjoy life again with someone who can be patient and understanding.
I think we all need someone to talk to ... Recently it's been my dogs, cat and parrot!! I love all sorts of music, the countryside, where I live, the buzz of the city, deserted beaches in the sun and visiting renaissance foreign cities!
I'm not a gym bunny, but I have rejoined a gym where I work out as I'm determined to look after myself!
I have spent 2 years looking after my husband so life was put on hold but now I've started moving forward and travelled abroad on my own for the first time!
I have a dry, naughty sense of humour, but I can't tell jokes, as I always forget the endings.
I live in jeans, boots and one of my tops at home but love to get dressed up when I go out.
I love my garden and I designed most of my furniture (and painted it!!) at home. I studied languages at uni, worked with Club Med, then went into teaching. I later had my own private English Language school but now I'm doing what I love, which is designing my own fashion range.... I do love animals and my house is a home, not a show house!

I'd like to meet someone who is confident, interesting and sociable and not narrow minded nor arrogant. It is important that they can communicate and still want to see and do different things and have an interest in life. An appreciation of music, art and literature would be good.. Also a soft side and tolerance of pets. I also think that chemistry between 2 people is vital. I'd also like to meet a person with a sensitive, patient side, who understands me ,as it has been a very long time since I have been out there on my own !
