About her
I'm an optimist I can't tell you how often I think the post is bringing a winning million, in the meantime I work part time and to keep me off the streets, I write poetry. Books are my addiction from fiction to hefty history books. Jane Eyre and The Secret Garden my gateway drugs! I come from a sociable family so love a good party and a good argument as with two older brothers I learned to hold my own. I am endlessly curious about people and optimistic that round the next corner an intelligent, amusing man might appear with whom I could enjoy all the usual cultural pursuits:galleries, theatre, films and talks. I'm more a Paula Rego fan than Fragonard but as with people I'm always willing to expand my tastes. The one place you wont find me is climbing up a mountain or at a fitness bootcamp but I love to swim even in the chilly Cornwall sea. I had a very happy marriage to a sculptor who died a while ago and I am now ready for a new chapter before time is called!
