About him
I enjoy my life and the challenges it throws up. I have a range of hobbies and good friends. I'm driven by inspiration. My interests include running, yoga, activity holidays, music (favourite music includes classical and opera, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen), reading, history and current affairs. I work in a management job at an Applied Health Research centre. At various points in my career I have also been an academic (teaching History & Politics), government (including being a researcher to the Deputy Mayor of London) and running my own consultancy business. I enjoy and am good at my job but it’s only a part of my life. I can be described as an intellectual (e.g. I have a PhD) but I can also be forgetful and downright silly. I’m divorced with two wonderful children from my marriage. I'm restlessly inquisitive for new knowledge. For example, I used lockdown to teach myself Italian. I like animals but am highly allergic to cats.

I’m open to persuasion. Compassion, independence and intelligence are important to me. My partner would have to share some of my interests and be intellectually curious and physically active. However, at the end of the day it all comes down to chemistry and whether we click. I love humour
