About him
To be very honest I'm neurodiverse, that is I have High Functioning Autism and it affects me a lot. People find me a bit difficult socially but I'm a warm loving individual with tons of energy. Having said that, it's also a blessing that, somehow, has made me my living. I'm a keyboard player and composer as well as a painter, my world is pretty much internal and I appreciate others who enjoy thinking outside the box. I like innovation, experimentation in all walks. Among my heroes - Miles Davis, Bowie, Bach, Warhol, Cage, Mondrian. And Brian Eno. I've taught an awful lot and also made a name for myself in some creative niches and rubbed shoulders with, yes, the rich and famous, but not much of it rubbed off. At times I enjoy lasting loving relationships but it has been quite a while now... it's not a 'must' for me. I have a few enduring friendships but I don't have a wide social circle. People tell me I have a lot to give. I am constantly overwhelmed by nature, music, art and people but there is also a practical side to me - I am uncannily punctual and my experience as a maker means I can fix most things including electronics. I also enjoy cooking and gardening, walking, a little astronomy and astrology, passionate about environmental, political and social issues and a bit of a news hawk. I"m the Chinese zodiac year of the Dog and a completely loyal companion, my element is Earth so - Earthdog. But the name is also a reference to a wonderful 20th Century composer known as Moondog who I consider a brother. He is very listenable, check him out - you'll find a bit of me, in a sense. My pics look at bit dour, I can and do smile and laugh - a lot in fact, selfies are a nightmare!

I don't really believe in ideals. I'm here because it's an arts-based dating website, I'll talk about music until you stop me! Walking on Dartmoor or the coast, talking, loving life, drinking coffee. Playing an instrument perhaps? I stay away from crowds but I'm OK with a few people. Right now I'm painting a lot. You enjoy art and would have something to say about any human creative endeavour.
