I am happy, laid back, optimistic, kind, with a tendency to find the funny side of life, to seize opportunities, and adore surprises
More spontaneous than routine in nature, I am far more an active participant in life than a spectator.

I have an adventurous streak, and have travelled widely, for the most part independently and in small groups. I am more often drawn to remote wild landscapes, woodland, the sea and am fascinated by wildlife, forests and plants, and really enjoy walking and wild swimming
I am also very happy exploring different cultures, art galleries and museums, live music and dance, botanical gardens, architectural, historical and archaeological sites.
When home I love walking with my dogs through woodland and over the downs. I am happiest in my garden and conservatory amidst an ever-growing number of plants, reading and playing the piano and am an able and inventive cook.
Other things that invariably make me happy and smile include starlit icy nights, open fires, hot sultry afternoons, and spending time with my lovely family friends and colleagues- all good people who laugh easily, and would love someone to share new horizons and experiences with.
