I live in an old house which needs some renovating though I doubt I will get round to it, so many more interesting things to do in life.
I think I'm kind and good company. Honest as the day is long (forget the shortest day) and have a good sense of humour.
I rarely eat out but can cook and make my own bread (experimented with sourdough during lockdown) so I don't starve. Don't make my own clothes though or anything scary like that.
I have India, Pakistan and New Zealand cricket caps!
Spend a lot of time doing jobs around the house. Currently renovating the stairs to get a new carpet (had a terrible moth problem so want to clean it all out before slapping down a new carpet) bit of a lockdown project with claw hammer etc. Seem to lose the will where the garden is concerned but as I like to encourage wildlife I'm not too worried. Nextdoor's chickens periodically get the run of the place to do some weeding for me.
I'm an eternal student - been doing an online language class during furlough which has helped keeping the brain active. I've taken a 3 mile walk most evenings and found it very beneficial for my knee injury.
Physically I'm a bit creaky so probably wouldn't be a good companion for a fell walking professional cyclist type (though if you just want to be admired I'm your gal!)
Love my evening walk but I get great pleasure from thoughts.
Currently reading a biography of Mike Massimino a NASA astronaut and also a time travel novel.

We don't have to share lots of interests, we should each bring something new to the relationship for the other person. I'd probably get on best with someone who has travelled a fair amount. If you shared my love of opera that would be lovely.
I eat a plant based diet. If you were veggie or vegan that would be great but it is more important that you share understanding of the importance of cooking your own food.
