About her
I am a friendly, sociable woman who is as happy walking in the countryside as going out to a formal dinner. I would describe myself as intelligent, yet not intellectual. I like to keep myself fit through walking with my dog, yoga and Pilates. I lived in Spain for eight years in the 70s and, after returning to England, worked in Financial Services, eventually becoming the Human Resources Manager of a bank in London.
I love to laugh and am disappointed to find so little laughter around me these days. I love to cry during happy films. I love to exchange views on current affairs, and I admire people who have a zest for life and retain a sense of optimism.. I think you would find me a good companion and a faithful friend.
I enjoy watching tennis on the television, I love the cinema, more particularly foreign and low-budget films. Where music is concerned, I enjoy blues, rock and pop, as well as world music. I speak French and Spanish and particularly enjoy travelling to France and Spain, but am open to the idea of widening my horizons.

My ideal match should be a non-smoker. An interest in watching tennis would be ideal and definitely somebody who loves dogs, as I have a beautiful Husky. Some shared interests would be perfect, but then again they do say opposites attract, so who knows. I hope to find someone who can make me laugh, but who knows how to be serious when the need arises. I'm looking for someone to talk to about what's going on in the world knowing that, even if he doesn't agree with me, he will respect my opinions, as I will his.
